Palm Avenue Fine Art located at the corner of Palm Avenue and Main Street in the heart of Sarasota's Gallery Row has opened its doors to rave reviews.This light filled, elegant space in the center of Sarasota's shopping and art galleries district occupies the ground floor of the historic Orange Blossom Hotel building which was constructed in 1926. The building now houses Palm Avenue Fine Art as well as a wonderful antiques establishment and sought after luxury residences

The gallery features a collection of artists without peer on the Gulf Coast including Ron Hicks, Joseph McGurl, Terry Bailey, Armand Cabrera, William Wolk, Kenn Backhaus, Dominic Avant, Julia O'Malley-Keyes, Joseph Paquet, Kent Sullivan, Jan Collins Selman, Juarez Machado, Bradley Stevens, Detlev Nitschke, Anthony Blake, Kathy Spalding , Alfredo Navarro, Charles Kolnik, Gary David Hoffmann, Henry Von Genk III, Clyde Butcher, Kevin Beilfuss, Ted Polomis and many more internationally recognized artists. The gallery partners have a combined fine art experience of over 70 years and have spent their careers supporting and encouraging both established and emerging artists.

What a manic April! This has been a wonderful first season on Palm Avenue with many pieces coming into the gallery and leaving with collectors to hang in happy homes. We have made recent connections with several new artists including Sarasota's Jack Dowd and Viktorija Bulava as well as the highly-acclaimed Frank Arcuri.

Palm Avnue Fine Art is pleased to announce our reperesentation of Kathy Spalding. Ms. Spalding is one of the most notable international sculptors of true life bronzes in the country. As a child she studied at Cranbrook Academy of Art. Her formal education began with drawing and etching at Pratt Institute. She studied drawing and lithography at Cornell, engraving and bronze casting at the University of Iowa, and engraving at the acclaimed Atelier Garrigues in France.
